Maidstone River Park

Maidstone River Park

If you enjoy some exceptional waterside walking then this is the perfect location. There are 12km of easy walking path running directly along the banks of the River Medway. For the mobility impaired this makes an easy walk to the countryside making it very accessible and you can enjoy the wild birds along the way. Watch out for the Kingfishers. This walk runs all the way from Allington Lock through Maidstone Town Centre to the Medieval Bridge at East Farleigh. The walk runs beyond this to Yalding but the path is less suitable for those with wheels.

There are plenty of refreshment stops along the way, with cafés, pubs and restaurants.

Please visit in-line with current restrictions, and check their website before visiting to ensure they are open.
