The Devonshire Arms at Pilsley

Owned by the Duke of Devonshire and set on the Chatsworth Estate the historic Devonshire Arms exudes warm hospitality and is a popular countryside retreat.  Located in the pretty village of Pilsley it's a beautiful 40 minute amble across estate countryside to Chatsworth - home to the Duke and Duchess.  Offering freshly cooked food, using local estate produce, available all day.  Lovely views across the estate countryside are offered from the front of the pub. Chatsworth is renowned for the quality of its art, landscape and hospitality.  The 105 acre garden is famous for its rich history, a product of nearly 500 years of careful cultivation and association with leading designers. Today it is home to captivating features, interesting planting and sculptures.  Whilst staying at The Devonshire Arms at Pilsley guests can also visit the Elizabeth gardens at nearby Haddon Hall and discover the breathtaking landscapes of the Peak District National Park.
