Folkestone Harbour Arm

You will want to arrive as early into the afternoon as possible to really make the most of this delightful town, as there is so much to see and do, by starting your day at the Folkestone Harbour Arm. What was once a former rail station and bustling ferry port, Folkestone Harbour Arm has been completely transformed and is now ‘the place to be’. If you are a foodie, this will be complete heaven for you! Along the Harbour Arm you will find an array of different cuisines hosted in an eclectic mix of venues, from Greek street food inside a converted bus to afternoon tea in a vintage 1950s horse box. Enjoy local fish and chips with a twist, straight out the net, followed by a glass of Champagne in The Lighthouse Champagne Bar. A converted lighthouse at the very end of the harbour arm, it's an ideal spot to enjoy a peaceful break at sea.

Overlooking the English Channel the Folkestone Camping and Caravanning Club Site has a perfect cliff top position and is favoured for its close proximity to both nature and sea. The Club Site is approximately 5 minutes drive from centre of Folkestone town and just over 10 minutes from the Channel Tunnel terminal, so it could also be the ideal stop off on your way into the country or just before you depart.
